Veronica Alzalde Wells is the Information Services Coordinator/Music Librarian at the University of the Pacific. Veronica coordinates the University Library’s reference and instruction programs. As the Music Librarian, she provides research consultations and library sessions, manages the music collection, and monitors the processing and cataloging of music materials. She also serves as the liaison to the Theatre Arts department.
Veronica completed her graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010 where she earned two Master of Arts degrees in Library & Information Studies and Musicology. At UW-Madison, Veronica cofounded the Music Library Student Group—an international organization for prospective music librarians.
Veronica is involved in the Music Library Association (MLA) and the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL). She is currently serving as Chair of the California Chapter of the Music Library Association (MLACC).
